A permanent reminder and tribute to those who helped during the Currowan bushfires will be put in place today.

A plaque will be unveiled today on the front lawn of the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre, acknowledging the help not only to fight the fires, but with the recovery that has followed.

Meantime on Friday, plaques were unveiled on a memorial in Ulladulla, in remembrance of two pilots who lost their lives while fighting fires, West of Ulladulla in 2013 and in Milton in 2018.
