$290k upgrades planned for Port Kembla Community Centre | Illawarra Mercury

Port Kembla Community Centre is set to receive a new commercial kitchen and electrical upgrades, with a suitable contractor identified. A report to go before Wollongong councillors at next week’s meeting recommends they accept a tender to undertake the works at a cost of $289,692, excluding GST. An asset inspection of the community centre identified the building’s kitchen needed upgrading to comply with current food premises standards and meet the needs of the community.
